2024年11月に発刊された『Helicobacter pylori 感染の診断と治療のガイドライン2024 改訂版』のCQのエッセンスおよび抜粋されたBQの解説を中心とした英語版ガイドライン 「Guidelines for the management of Helicobacter pylori infection in Japan: 2024 Revised Edition」が、新旧ガイドライン委員の先生方のご尽力により、2026年3月にJournal of Gastroenterologyに掲載されました（open access）

本ガイドラインは、H. pylori 感染胃炎の診断に基づき、すべての感染者に除菌療法を適用するという我が国の最新の方針を示したものであり、世界の医療関係者から高い関心を集めることが期待されます。さらに、本英語版ガイドラインを通じて、日本発のエビデンスと診療戦略を国際的に発信し、H. pylori 感染症の診療の質向上および胃がん予防のさらなる推進に寄与することを目指しております。

The English version of the guidelines, entitled “Guidelines for the Management of Helicobacter pylori Infection in Japan: 2024 Revised Edition,” which focuses on the key Clinical Questions (CQs) and selected Background Questions (BQs) from the “ Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Helicobacter pylori Infection, 2024 Revised Edition (in Japanese),” published in November 2024, was prepared through the dedicated efforts of both current and former guideline committee members of JSHR and was published in March 2026 in the Journal of Gastroenterology (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00535-026-02379-4).

These guidelines present Japan’s latest policy of offering eradication therapy to all individuals diagnosed with H. pylori- associated gastritis. They are expected to attract considerable attention from healthcare professionals worldwide. Furthermore, through this English version of the guidelines, we aim to disseminate Japan-originated evidence and clinical strategies internationally, thereby contributing to improvements in the quality of care for H. pylori infection and to further advances in gastric cancer prevention.
